Charlie’s Miracle Fifteen-year-old Charlie prowls the forests of thirteenth-century England with the outlaws who murdered her parents. When she is abducted by a con man magician, she is thrust from the shadows onto an international stage. The king has died while losing a civil war, and it will take a miracle for the realm to accept his nine-year-old son as the new sovereign—a miracle the magician plans to fabricate by killing Charlie. To escape she must use her captor’s tricks against him, but if successful, why would she return to her feral life? These illusions could make her rich. They could also save England.
